TenThousandCofees.com — Despite my first experience with TenThousandCofees.com, I am impressed with the idea and inspired to grow my professional network through the informal avenue of coffee chats. Here is more of what I think of this new thing.

Magnet — Magnet uses the information on your uploaded resume as criteria to present you the job opportunities that you are qualified for, as well as an easy avenue through which you can apply.

LinkedIn — LinkedIn is great and very popular. What is not as popular these days is the recently launched app for students: LinkedIn Students. This app takes your LinkedIn profile and connects you with university alumni from your school and tells you what they are doing, giving you ideas of the types of careers that are out there for graduates of your particular skill-set.

Video and Youtube

Mr. Porter — A great, beautifully done, and educational channel for young men concerned in fashion, Mr. Porter can help move you from a young student to a gentleman. It provides a peak into the styles and aesthetic practices of fashionable professionals. For example:

With a great look and feel, Mr. Porter videos allow you to easily decide what is not you and what may be.

Casey Neistat — Casey’s daily vlogs have truly changed my life, shaping my morning routine around a ~10 minute inspiration for the day ahead. Read what I really feel about his vlogs here.

Buzzfeed Video — Buzzfeed is my way to pass some time after midnight. It’s lighthearted, fun, and entertaining with some touches of social consciousness and activism.

The Skin Deep — with deeply intimate videos presenting the nooks and crannies of human relationships, The Skin Deep has taken media to another level with digital projects like The {AND}. Read about it here and watch it here:
